About The Title
The title is a bit of a joke. Once upon a time a student worker walked into my office and commented on how nice it is for "just a librarian." I promptly tore him a new one. Since that day, the title has been used as a bit of an inside joke. I am a reference librarian. I also work on the phone system, maintain the computers in the library (formerly the whole school), maintain part of the school's website (formerly the whole site), am currently working on rewriting a book, writing a book, and writing a research pamphlet. On the weekends I hunt, fish, work on my truck, am building a cabin mostly by myself, and run a sawmill. I seem to do a lot more than library work.... hence the joke. Oh, and the student worker who made the comment is now a full time employee, and I consider him a friend.. funny how that works out.
About Time
I figure it is about time for me to start putting something on this site. My plan is to share my wisdom with the world, but it is much more likely I will wind up just ranting about things that irritate me. While I may post about work related topics, I will not talk about my job.
I reserve the right to be crude, crass, and not at all politically correct. I don't tend to pull punches that often... so I have no intention of doing so here. No subject is out of bounds.
